This is the usual propaganda lies, that has been promoted since 1945. But we know, that representatives of the Catholic Church and International Red Cross had access to all of the German Concentration camps before and during WWII, and that all the claims are lies. Many years ago there was an investigation into the archives in Rome about the Catholic Church visits by an international commission consisting of Catholic and Jewish people. A lot of documents were taken out of the archives. Even before they had been revealed one Jewish member started to promote the usual lies, and when the documents showed that this was the case, the entire Commission work was blocked from finishing the job by the two Jewish members. They were never interested in the truth. So, what the Catholic Church did was to protect Germans against a fake show trial. By the way: International Red Cross has never to this day confirmed any of the accusations promoted by the Allied after WWII. It had good reasons not to do so. I had first hand insight.

I think I'm Scots - Irish, I don't know for sure and I really don't care. But one thing I'm pretty sure of is that somewhere, sometime in my ancestors past, one of those dudes ate somebody else. This is an interesting story. Paul Touvier caused thousands of French Jews to be murdered. What is hard to fathom is Touvier caused thousands of French resistance fighters to be murdered. Most of these French fighters were Christian. Most of these Christians were undoubtedly Roman Catholic. Parishioners of the Roman Catholic Church. It is Touvier’s murder of these men and women that caused the French government’s interest decades after the end of WWII. Of course, the Roman Catholic Church is good about forgiveness. You ask for forgiveness and Absolution is granted. The Roman Catholic Church gave priests absolution for sexual transgressions against their own parishioners and then transferred to other church’s where they were able to repeat these crimes. Murdering Jews is something the Roman Catholic Church has done and understands. It is remarkable that Touvier was able to be located and arrested fourth years after the war. Sounds rediculous; so if someone is put in prison for 15 years and is released; by the communists; but somone else who feels a special hatred for that person should be able to murder him? At best that is revenge attack as portrayed in the movie "Munich" and at worst murder of someone judged to have served there time.

On April 6 1917 my Great Uncle Harry Ball #908129 was wounded by a German Gatlin gun on the Vimy Ridge, because of the contamination in the trenches- he had his left leg amputated because of the infections. And my Great grandfather Abel Watetch #907650 on August 14, 1917 at 04:00am he was gassed at Hill 70 and he was sent to Camiers Hospital in France where he was treated, and after his recovery he returned back to his unit the 102nd on Feb 1918.

Has the hunt for WW2 Nazis pretty much ended at this point? Assuming one became an ardent Nazi at age 18 in 1942 (the last year anyone could join and have a chance to commit enough crimes to get noticed), such a person would be 100 today.

Simon Weisenthal was first arrested in 1940 by the Soviet NKVD in Lviv it was to do with the 27 Polish professors he would have been the 28th . When the Soviets interrogated him and later found out that he was Jewish and not Polish they let him go . This was the first experience of working for the NKVD . When the Germans invaded Ukraine in 1941 he was helped by a Ukrainian police named Bodnar to escape so he was hiding until 1942 and was put in the Lviv Ghetto and by luck ended working as a sign writer and painting German trains for two years. The shelf live of a inmate in the Ghetto was six months later on Simon Weisenthal was working for the Gestapo because he knew the upper class Jews were living that what saved him time . The Germans left Lviv in 1944 and the Ghetto was emptied and of course Simon traveled with high ranking Nazi Generals by lorry outside a real death camp in Austria. Simon Weisenthal was never tattooed even in that camp . When he was liberated by Americans in 1945 he offered his services as a witness at the Nuremberg trials and on one occasion Simon recognized the Soviet NKVD General who arrested him in 1940 in Lviv once the American got to know this strange story he was pulled out of the court and was again cross examined and later on Americans dropped him for further questioning as a witness.

What bothers me most is the role of the Roman catholic church. To mention some of their "achievements" through the ages : initiating the crusades, raising the inquisition and more recent : helping nazis and abusing children. I'm not a bible expert but I'm quite sure this is not what Jesus meant. Perhaps it's time to take action against the RC church, other organisations have been marked as criminal for much lesser charges.
